Licensed and Qualified
The easiest way to find out whether the driving instructor is qualified or not is to check his license. Make sure the instructor is an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). It is best if the instructor has at least 5 or 6 ADI grade because that grade shows how skillful he is as a driving instructor. Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) is also a good choice. Instructor with PDI qualification is still undergoing the training but he is allowed to give driving lessons. Since PDI is not fully qualified yet, it can be a good opportunity to ask for discounts.
Gives You Undivided Attention
Make sure the instructor gives you his undivided attention during the lesson. The instructor shouldn’t play with his phone or talk unimportant things that can distract you. Driving lessons doesn’t come cheap and every minute is precious. Therefore, the instructor should fill the gas before the lesson starts so you don’t need to stop your lesson just because the car is run out of gas and you need to make a trip to the gas station.

The instructor will have a fixed lesson plan.
